I give Auto Express 5? because of the quality of their work and how they genuinely care for their customers. Patrick and his employees are professional are very knowledgeable. They always call you before they do anything on your vehicle. I have taken multiple vehicles to Auto Express to either get a diagnostic or getting something repaired they were upfront and honest about what need to be done. I had a 2006 Toyota Sienna's front struts replaced. I also had a 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan GT that wasn't running right and started knocking. Patrick diagnosed the problem and found out the 3 of the cams were eaten up. His crew totally rebuilt the top end of the engine and it ran like a dream. I have recommended Auto Express to multiple and if or when I have car issues in the future this is the auto shop I'll be taking it to. Highly recommend these these guys as they lead with integrity!

Brock and his guys guys come highly recommended and I saw why. Professional, friendly service and a fair price. Go in realizing you will be charged for a diagnostic on your vehicle. I understand the charge, but I would have liked to have known up front. The money is not the point to me, it?s the transparency, or lack there of, but many may not be able to afford $130 just to find out what?s wrong with it. Our hypothesis is a transmission on a 9 year old car with 207,000 mi on it, so off to buy a new car. All in all this is a very good place to bring your vehicle for repairs and I would go again if needed.

Found these guys yesterday for a quick oil change and state inspection after driving to 4 valvoline places who had no inspector at any Tyler store apparently after sending me from one to another without even calling. Within our first week, new to town, we had a ripple effect of car problems from the AC to Check Engine lights. We discovered that schedules are tight around town and ended up at Auto Express through recommendation. I can't recommend this shop enough. With no notice or appointment, Brock immediately jumped in to help and got me in and out the same day. He took note of our situation of being dependent on one vehicle as we are transitioning into a new town and did everything under his control to help, as did the rest of the team. As I waited in their very clean and inviting customer space, I took note that this is just the way they do business with anyone who walks through their doors. This is the most friendly, accommodating shop in town! I've used them for a high end brake job on my Jeep Trackhawk before, so they can work on pretty much anything. Today they earned a lifelong customer when, without an appointment, they let me put my Camaro up on a lift to install a small modification underneath. The owner ended up doing it for me, had me gone in under 10 minutes, and wouldn't let me pay! Thanks for being honest and fair guys!

My Ford Taurus water pump went out but it is not an easy fix due to the proximity of it to the motor. The first place I went to in Tyler told me the cost and basically talked me out of getting repaired. Came across Patrick and his team and he was very professional and knowledgeable about the issue. Gave me a quote it was expensive but fair, against my better judgment I tried a cheaper route using a mobile mechanic who said they could fix but turned out to be a nightmare and my car was worse than before. Went back to Patrick expecting to hear ?I told you so? but not at all he made me feel better saying not going to blame anyone for trying to save money! Anyway him and his team fixed the original issue and the other issues caused by the other mechanic and the price was still close to the original quote! Needless to say the car is running great now! I generally do my own maintenance, but I had a back problem flare up, so I couldn't. I went here for an oil change, and I was in and out very quickly. All of the employees were very friendly, and I was able to talk to the owner for a little while, and he seemed like a great guy.

We have been taking our cars here for years, they do good work and at fair prices. They do everything from State inspections, oil changes, AC, to more extensive stuff. I recently had my car at the dealership to get the airbag fixed from the recall and I needed work done on my headlights, the dealership quoted me around $250 to do the work, but Auto Express did it for $100 cheaper.
